Anglican Church Women
ACW is an integral part of the mission of the Canadian Anglican Church. The purpose of ACW is to unite women in a fellowship of worship, study, and offering, to deepen and strengthen their spiritual lives and lead them into Christian service everywhere. ACW is a positive, inclusive and unifying organization, which affirms in word and action that its service is based upon faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ. All Anglican Women are welcome regardless of their specific sphere of interest or degree of involvement and are enabled to work positively and productively through the following committees:

  • Outreach

  • Social Concern

  • Worship, Education & Mission

  • Youth / Family Life

  • Altar Guild

Sidespersons / Ushers

Teams are assigned to welcome and assist worshippers. New members welcome!

Sunday / Church School
We are very pleased to be able to offer Nursery care and Sunday School instruction up to Grade 6 level, using the resources of the Whole People of God curriculum. We also try to design intergenerational worship on special Sundays to provide our children an opportunity to worship with us. Children are also welcome to receive communion from a very early age. All children are welcome.

Confirmation Preparation

We offer preparation for Confirmation, in conjunction with other Anglican parishes in the city, over a two year period, using The Grow in the Spirit Program and the Youth Alpha Program in alternate years. People must be at a minimum age of 12 years to begin preparation.

Baptism Preparation
Baptism is usually celebrated on the key festivals of our Church year (Easter, Pentecost, etc.). Preparation for parents and sponsors of children and for adult candidates is required and is offered in conjunction with other city parishes.

Marriage Preparation
Preparation for Marriage is required and is offered at least once a year in conjunction with other parishes in our Deanery (Bay of Islands).

We sponsor, support and encourage the Scout & Guide movements. Various groups meet at our Church Hall.

We welcome and encourage people to become involved in the various ministries of our Church, such as Servers, Sidespersons, Readers, Teachers, etc.
